If you are looking for a new hideout toy for your rabbit, then pop-up tents are a simple fun and cheap toy that can be packed away when not needed.

Rabbit tents are a miniature version of a real popup tent you would find in a campsite.

They are made from lightweight materials and can be folded up in much the same way with a bit of a twist which admittedly there is a bit of a knack too.

Your rabbit will enjoy using the tent for shelter and the rustling noise these toys makes when they play with it.

They can be easy to wipe clean which is good as hideouts where rabbits spend time in can get a bit messy as rabbits litter training can wonder off perfect sometimes.

They can be used indoors and outside to offer shelter as the materials it is made from is nonabsorbent and water resistant.

If your rabbit does enjoy this type of toy you may want to consider buying a tent that can be joined up with tunnels so you can extend this toy and build your rabbit a Tent and tunnel warren system

Our review of the Collapsible rabbit tent toy

Our bunnies love the rustling noise these tents make and spend most of their time digging on it, jumping over and on it and tossing it about.

We did use to play a game of putting some treats inside and our rabbits did enjoy finding them however, they did not really spend much time sitting inside probably because it was a bit on the small size.

How a Collapsible rabbit tent toy can help you bunny proof your home

It is important for your rabbit's wellbeing to have lots of places of shelter to explore and rest in. Unfortunately, many of these narrow places such as under or behind your couch, under your bed or wooden furniture can be unsuitable for your rabbit to play in.

Couches can have rough unfinished surfaces with dangerous staples and nails that poke out. Plastic covers can also be dangerous as they contain long strands of synthetic material that would cause harm if eaten.

Damage can also build up in these areas which can often go unnoticed till it is to late when expensive repairs are needed.

This is why providing acceptable forms of shelter is essential to keep your rabbit out from under your furniture and out of harm's way.

Overall
A pop up tent toy can be a great hideout for your rabbit to rest and play in and can be easily stored away when you're done.

If you want to get your rabbit something really special, then a tent and tunnel system is an amazing toy that you can keep adding bits on to build your rabbit a complete warren to play in.

Tunnel and tent system are probably the most complex rabbit toy you can buy. They combine a collection tunnels, interconnecting section and tents that can be joined together.

They are made from tough fabric stretched over wire springs that is nonabsorbent so you can easily wipe it clean.

They do take up a lot of room however, the wire springs holding the structure ridged but can be folded up and packed away when not needed.

It's also worth checking that the toy you are looking for is a Tent and tunnel system design for rabbits as they are sold alongside cat toys that may be unsuitable. These cat toys typically come with a pompom in the entrance which your rabbit is likely to chew and eat.

This toy will really appeal to a curious bunny that likes to explore and will quickly turn a boring space somewhere they can have an adventure.

Our review of the Rabbit tent and tunnel system

This toy was great for keeping our bunnies amused. Every time we set it out differently our bunny would find exploring it irresistible, that said there were treats involved which was part of the fun.

It did take up quite a bit of room but was easy to step over and the novelty made it a lot more fun they a regular activity tunnel and made a lot less mess than some of the construction we have made from cardboard boxes and chew tubes.

A bored bunny is a destructive bunny, and this toy is an amazing boredom buster that will keep your rabbits occupied and out of trouble.

It is also great for drawing out rabbits that like to hide under your couch or bed which can be unsafe places for your rabbit to play.

If your rabbit likes exploring then they will love this activity tunnel toy, The best thing about them is they are light weight and collapse down into a small package when you want to pack them away.

They are made from fabric stretched over wire springs and are make from a tough fabric that is nonabsorbent and wipes clean.

They often come with a hole in the middle which your rabbit can use to peep out of and can be great for popping some treats down to make it even more fun.

This is a big rabbit toy and will take up a lot more room than a single tunnel toy. This does help make them a lot more stable as they spread out which makes them very stable when your rabbit shifts its weight about inside or dives into it.

Although they are larger than regular activity tunnels you can still pack them away neatly in much the same way so you can store them when not needed.

These toys can be a bit narrower so it's best to check the size or make sure you get a Large 3 way collapsible tunnel especially if you have a larger bread.

It's also worth checking that the toy you are looking for is designed with rabbits in mind as they are sold alongside cat toys that may be unsuitable. These cat toys typically come with a pompom in the entrance which your rabbit is likely to chew and eat.

If you want to make this even more fun for your rabbit you can buy them as a part of a tunnel and tent system that lets you join them together to build a warren that your rabbit will love.

Our review of the 3 way collapsible rabbit tunnel

We leave one of these out pretty much permanently as our bunny seems to be more comfortable with the shelter it offers in the room.

It's good because it breaks the room up a bit but is easy to step over. We have even stepped on it a few times and it always seems to spring back.

Our bunnies like the rustle noise it makes when they dig into it and spend more time jumping over and on it than running through it which is still good.

We like the peep hole in the center as we use this to drop some treats through which always encourages out rabbit to go inside.

How a 3 way collapsible rabbit tunnel can help you bunny proof your home

Rabbits instinctively explore narrow spaces like behind your couch or under furniture.

Unfortunately, these spaces can lead your rabbits to danger as couches can be pushed back which can crush an unsuspecting rabbit or have materials such as long strands of synthetic material that may be harmful if digested.

This is why it is essential to enrich your rabbit's environment with hideout toys to give your rabbit safe alternative places to play.

These toys are great fun and value for money. Three-way tunnel toys transform a room for your rabbit to play in and can be neatly packed afterwards.

4 Snuggle tent rabbit hideout

Snuggle tents are a combination of a pet bed and a small shelter and will give your rabbit a comfortable place to relax in that will make them feel safe.

They have soft, padded sides and base which would be good for keeping your rabbit warm if you have hard or cold floors.

They are also machine washable which is great as areas where bunnies nest in can get a bit messy over time. Rabbits often prefer shelters with a second entrance so you may want to consider a snuggle tunnel instead.

They are a bit more stable than a thinner pop-up tent which can spring about a bit if as your rabbit crashes in and out as well as into them.

These toys are often quite small so may be better for smaller breads. If you are looking online its best to check the sizes and check, it is a [amazinLink]

Our review of the Snuggle tent rabbit hideout

We have hard slate floors in our home which are good for keeping clean, however they can be a bit cold at times, so we got one of these to provide a bit of comfort for our rabbits.

Our bunnies only went inside it when we put some treats in there but did like to sit more half on it in from time to time or lay up against it which they did seem to enjoy.

How a Snuggle tent rabbit hideout can help you bunny proof your home

It's natural for rabbits to want safe places of shelter to relax in and keep out of harm's way.

Unfortunately, many of these narrow places such as under or behind your couch, under wooden furniture or your bed can be unsuitable for your rabbit to play in.

It's quite common to bunny proof these places typically by blocking them off however in doing so you are taking away the opportunity for your rabbit to express this natural behavior which can lead them to being bored and unhappy

This is why it's important to give your rabbit lots of safe and acceptable alternative shelter to satisfy this natural behavior and keep them from being frustrated by trying to access no go areas in your home.

Overall
The snuggly hideout toy that will offer your rabbit some shelter and give them somewhere comfortable and warm to relax to lay on

5 Rabbit teepee hideout

teepee bunny toy
button

Rabbit teepees are fabulous looking hideout toys made from natural materials that will offer your rabbit some shelter and comfort when they come out to play.

Rabbit Teepee's do very much the same job as a popup tent however they are a lot more attractive looking as they are made from more natural looking materials.

They are typically constructed from wood and cotton so there is less danger of your issues arising from your rabbit eating the synthetic material often found in popup tents.

They are, however, one of the more expensive rabbit shelter toys and may not be as hard-wearing as for instance a wooden shelter. The fabric and wood construction would be as much of a shelter as a chew toy, and I would not expect any pompoms or other tassels to last long.

You may find this toy hard to clean, which can be a problem anywhere a rabbit spends a lot of time as they will often have the odd accident.

That said if you do want to buy your rabbit a fancy shelter to sit in, they really do look a lot more attractive than many of the other wooden or plastic constructions that are available.

Our review of the Rabbit teepee hideout

We have not tried this toy out on our bunnies, our feeling is that it would not offer value for money. We think this toy may be more suitable for other pets such as a cat.

How a Rabbit teepee hideout can help you bunny proof your home

Every toy is a chew toy for a rabbit, and they will try to eat a lot of things that we would consider indigestible.

This can be a problem especially if they eat a lot of it, not only can they cause a lot of damage these materials can cause blockages in the digestion that can make them very unwell.

If your rabbit is a bit of a chewer, it's often best to choose a simple toy made from a material that you know is safe and that you can easily monitor how much of it your rabbits are eating in case it makes them unwell.

Overall
A great looking rabbit tent toy that also offers some comfort and shelter.

Fun: A bit boring
